WELCOME TO QUEENSBURY SENIOR CITIZENS – SENIORS ON THE GO!

WE ARE AGING WELL IN THE ADIRONDACKS!

Queensbury Senior Citizens was first established in 1980. At this time, a number of senior citizens in the town of Queensbury had a vision that included a meeting place for their mutual enjoyment and an expansion of senior services prompted by Queensbury resident Arthur Turnbull. On March 7th, 1980, a group of more than 100 like-minded seniors met at the Town Hall to discuss their future as a viable organization. As a result, the vibrant organization we are today came about through the evolution of this grass roots effort. We count on our volunteers who contribute their time and talents to making QSC what it is and are grateful for the support we have from the Town of Queensbury which provides us housing and partial funding.
